WHO WE ARE
We are a husband and wife team, living in our ancestral 1912 cottage, a few steps from the refreshing Bandra sea-face. We belong to the original community of Bombay that was exposed to Portuguese culture from 1534 to 1662.With the coming of the British, cottages similar to ours were built in the vicinity by members of the British East India Company. The beauty of our villages by the sea and the clean and green environment impressed them so much that they nicknamed Bandra 'the queen of the suburbs'.
Today, some of these villas still do exist, although most are replaced by high-rise apartments that have transformed Bandra into a cosmopolitian preserve of the rich and famous from different parts of India.
We work from our cottage, Barnny Villa, as hosts to paying guests from India and abroad. We look forward to hearing from you if you think our services address your needs.
